Why God can love the world and we can't?
First let me give you at least 3 Bible verses about : John 3:16 (theoretically known by many), 1John 2:15,16 and Ecclesiastes 5:10,11. Let's see what John 3:16 says: " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" . 1 John 2:15,16 says this: " Do not love the world or things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the list of the flesh, the list of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world" . The next two verses from Ecclesiastes 5:10,11 are sensitive for me and I'd like you to pay attention: " He who loves the silver will not be satisfied with silver; nor he who loves abundance, with increase. This also is vanity. When goods increase, they increase who eat them; so what profit have the owners except to see them with their eyes?" .
